We have thoroughly enjoyed our time aboard with our short cruises around Charleston and our extended cruises to the Chesapeake Bay, the Abaco Islands and several trips to the Florida Keys and the FL west coast. Summer Breeze, a DeFever 44, is a classic trawler with a full displacement hull, fuel efficient Ford Lehman 120 hp main engines, stabilizers, two inverters, two generators, a fuel polishing system, a water maker, a dinghy with new Yamaha outboard engine, a life raft, updated Furuno chart plotter and radar system, two cabins, two heads, two undercounter refrigerators, and ice maker, a chest freezer, a washer/dryer combo, a roomy salon and galley. She is a perfect liveaboard or for part time cruisers. With her fuel capacity, generators and water maker you can be a self sufficient liveaboard as we were in the Abacos for 3 1/2 months.

SUMMER BREEZE DESCRIPTION
Summer Breeze's flooring is teak parquet sole. In the salon, two under counter refrigerators are starboard aft with and adjoining ice maker. The L shaped settee offers wrap around seating with an adjustable height table. There are two side deck access doors on each side and next to the lower helm station chart drawer and electrical panel. There are two lounging chairs that fit nicely starboard side and are perfect for relaxing, reading or watching the movies on the large Toshiba tv which is also a computer monitor and chart plotter.
The galley is U shaped port aft with opening side and aft windows. There is plenty of storage and counter space, a Galley Maid 3 burner electric cooktop and oven, Microwave Oven, laminate countertops (updated in 2018), 2 Kenmore under counter refrigerators, a U-Line Icemaker, Sil-granite sink with sprayer faucet (updated in 2018) and a filtered water faucet at sink.
The master stateroom is full beam offering a centerline queen size berth, nightstands, hanging lockers, walk in closet, storage drawers and cabinets, desk or vanity, 2 reading lights, 2 fans, six port lights with Peek-A-Boo shades and an ensuite head and enclosed shower. The guest stateroom is forward with a V-berth including insert, port lights with Peek-A-Boo shades and an overhead deck hatch, reading lights, a fan, hanging locker, storage drawers, an ensuite head (no shower) with a door access to the engine room.
The large flybridge (upper helm station) has a full console forward with plenty of storage underneath, bench seats port and starboard, 2 X Bostrom Captain helm seats, the Splendide washer/dryer, bimini, 3/4's Isinglass with windows, radar arch, bench seat with storage underneath starboard aft, 2 deck storage boxes and non skid decks.
The sundeck has a teak deck with a hard top that houses the dinghy and lifting davit above, aft gate to swim platform ladder, two side deck access, teak deck furniture, the freezer, BBQ grill, moveable sun shades and a fresh water washdown.
