Summer Breeze and Jasmine under the rainbow.

It rained off and on most of the day, some of the storms being just rain showers while others having some winds and lightening. We went for a dinghy ride around to Fiddle Cay (where the annual Cheeseburger in Paradise party is held and coming up on July 2!) and then back around to the north end of Manjack Cay. I think the weather is keeping the sea life quiet right now as we only saw 2 small rays. But in all this rain, we get rainbows!

June 10
The forecast said, rainy off and on all day.... so we dodged some black clouds and some distant thunder but had to get out to the north side of Manjack to play with the sharks and rays.
We landed Jasmine on the beach with this big black cloud on our tail.
Yes, we were wading in the water with them. Years ago (20-25?) we were scuba diving with the kids in Grand Cayman and we swam with the rays there. I guess they still do that.
Rosie's toes are under his wing! Not tasty enough for him, maybe it was leather sandal he didn't like. The water is so clear, you can't tell that we are wading in it.
Bruce's feet, he's not scared!
More rain in the evening and another full rainbow!

June 11, Tuesday
On our way to Powell Cay...
This afternoon we dinghied around the island and found the trails that lead to the bluff and to the ocean as well as around to the ocean side where the small reef and trees are creating a great snorkeling spot. That is what we are going back to do in the morning.
And it is a pizza night! Home made pizza alla Barbara Yongue!
Great artist in Winnsboro, SC and an awesome pizza cooker, among other things!
